🌴 A Change of Plans! Heading to South Texas Instead of Las Vegas — RV Life at Its Best 🚐
One of the greatest things about RV living is the freedom to change direction at any moment — literally. And that’s exactly what we did! Instead of heading west toward Las Vegas, we decided to point our wheels south and make our way down to South Texas.
Why the sudden change?
Sunshine, warm weather, beautiful coastal views, great campgrounds… and of course, the fact that RV life is all about going where your heart leads. ❤️
This new route gave us the perfect chance to practice what we preach: stay flexible, embrace the journey, and enjoy the gift of being able to choose a new path anytime.
🚐 A Day in the Life — Errands, Stops & Simple RV Travel
Our travel day was full of those everyday stops that make RV life feel so real and relatable. If you’ve ever wondered what a practical travel day looks like, here’s a peek behind the scenes!

Because sometimes the fastest way to keep rolling is a quick bite on the go. The dogs supervised, of course. 🐾😉

RV life means mail forwarding, package pickups, and juggling addresses. A post office run is basically a weekly ritual at this point.

A quick Navy Exchange stop — one of the perks of military benefits while traveling. Everything from essentials to little treats to make the day better.
06:00 — Amazon Drop Box
When you’re constantly on the move, Amazon lockers and drop boxes become your best friends. Need something shipped? Boom. Easy.
06:31 — Commissary
Time to stock the fridge! Full-time RV living means planning meals, securing space, and making sure the fridge survives travel days.
07:00 — MWR Office
And for military families, MWR always comes in clutch with resources, camping access, and helpful staff who understand the lifestyle.

With the errands wrapped up and the wheels pointed south, excitement started building. South Texas has so much to offer:
